Are you legal?
Yes.
is registered with the city of Indianapolis, and we pay taxes. Anytime you sell to us, you will be furnished with a receipt for your records and ours.
Do you offer references?
Yes. Visit our testimonials page where you will find statements from just a few of our happy clients. Furthermore, we are a proud member of the Fishers Chamber of Commerce.
Who are your customers?
We buy from professionals, retirees and homemakers and frequent some of the largest businesses in the area. Most of our customers have had their unwanted gold & silver sitting around for a while. Some recently acquired estate jewelry or flatware sets. Others gathered pieces together to sell for a specific purpose. Some of them searched and found our ads, while others were referred to us by family, friends or coworkers. All of them wanted a trustworthy, professional buyer and a good deal. That is why they chose
.
Do you offer a benefit for veterans or seniors?
Yes.
already pays more for every customer's gold and silver. However we offer a 3% bonus to veterans and seniors. (Available to veterans with DD214 or VAMC ID and seniors 60+) This was a difficult decision. We didn't want to offend our other clients. Yet as a veteran myself, I wanted to salute fellow veterans for their valuable service. (GO ARMY! HOOAH!) We also wanted to honor our seniors who deserve special appreciation. We hope our other customers will understand and support this decision.
Do you buy gold and silver from anyone?
No.
is an honest buyer for honest sellers. We absolutely will not take part in illegal or questionable situations and will notify the authorities of suspicious or criminal activity. Customers must be of sound and sober mind. No minors. ID required. We may refuse service to anyone at anytime.
Do you buy gold-plated or silver-plated pieces?
No.
buys karat gold and coin gold and sterling silver, coin silver and bullion silver only.
How do I know if my flatware is solid silver or just silver-plated?
The majority of silver color flatware is silver-plated. Age is not a factor. Solid silverware almost always will be stamped "sterling" somewhere on the piece; in some cases it may be stamped "925" instead. However, if you see "Rogers", "ONEIDA", "Community Silver", "Triple Silver", "EPNS", "EPN" or "SP", it is plated. If it does not have a stamp, most likely it is plated.
If my flatware tarnishes, doesn't that mean it is silver?
No. Although tarnished plated pieces look slightly different than tarnished sterling, silver-plate does tarnish and discolor. It also wears off, and the wearing looks like tarnish.
Are you different from other buyers?
Yes!
is different from pawn shops, jewelry dealers, web-based and underground buyers. Firstly, we are a legal business registered with the the city of Indianapolis. Furthermore, we operate on the principles of quality service and solid reputation, not customer desperation or ignorance. Because clients are busy and/or more comfortable at their homes or workplaces, we even come to you. During an appointment, we inspect, weigh and test your gold & silver in front of you and will not take it out of your sight at any time. We are local and accountable and meet you in person (appointments are scheduled promptly), and you can contact us anytime with questions, comments or concerns. We pay in cash at the time of sale, and since money talks we pay more than almost any other buyer (local or otherwise). Moreover, our rates are standard, so you get the best price in the current market without haggling. We make every effort to remain the best gold & silver buyer for honest sellers.
How does this process work?
You call
and set up an appointment. He comes to you at your home or workplace and inspects the pieces you want to sell. He weighs them and tests any piece that is unmarked or that he wants to confirm. Then he tells you the buying price and, if you accept, pays you in cash. For the majority of clients, this process takes around 15-20 minutes. More time may be required for a large collection.
Will I have to haggle for a good price?
No.
has a no-haggling policy for two reasons: 1) clients find it uncomfortable, and 2) the average person does not know what their gold & silver is worth. You deserve a fair price for your gold & silver, and that is what we offer. While our rates follow a fluctuating market, they do not vary according to the customer. Other buyers may offer as little as they think you will accept, we will offer you what it is worth. So even if you have no idea about the value of your metal, you will get the same great rate as everyone else.
How do I set up an appointment?
Call (317) 454-9700 or email IndyMetalMan@Gmail.com. We will ask your name, address, phone # and a brief description of what you want to sell. Usually, you will be scheduled for the same day or the following day.
